Dr Tania de Jong – Clinical Psychologist
Tania is a Clinical Psychologist and Doctor or Clinical Psychology with experience in community and health settings since 1998. She also holds a Master’s degree in Child and Family Psychology. Her professional background includes establishing health services in collaboration with community organsiations and local government, as well as working across social justice organisations and medical clinics.
Academic and Publications and Professional Contributions
Tania has held honorary psychology supervision positions with Monash University, and has provided psychology tutoring and supervision positions with Australian Catholic University. She has presented at national and international conferences, and her historical academic work has been cited in several research publications.
She is acknowledged in the foreward of the internationa bestseller Not Knowing: The art of Turning Uncertainty into Possibility by D’Souza and Renner, for her contribution to discussions on ideas and concepts within the work.
Creative Work
As a side interest, Tania has authored and illustrated small, unpublished books, including The Day and Ocean Ran Away, aimed at supporting emotional literacy, resilience, and mindfulness.
Clinical Practice
Tania’s clincial work is currently focused on private practice, where she undertakes the assessment and treatment of mental health difficulties across the lifespan.
