Five Animal Play Qigong
‘Rub your tummy’ like the bear, and ‘spread your wings’ like the crane.
This form is based on the movements of the tiger, deer, bear, monkey and crane. Come play and enjoy the grounding of the bear, the grace of the deer, the prowess of the tiger, the humour of the monkey, and the soaring of the bird. The movements cleanse and create space on all levels by stretching the tendons and muscles, and opening the meridians. Chi stimulation is increased by alternating expansion and relaxation, leading to improved blood circulation. Enjoy the mental space created by regular practice of this form.
A great form of mindful movement to promote fitness. All are welcome, suits beginners and advanced alike.
