What is myotherapy and what can it help with?
Myotherapy is closely aligned with physiotherapy and remedial massage. Myotherapists at Latrobe Health Centre use a range of methods to help people eliminate pain, improve mobility and enhance quality of life. Each of our myotherapists will use a variety of massage techniques as well as other soft tissue therapies. They are skilled in the use of dry needling techniques and sports taping, and often prescribe exercise and rehabilitation programs and will assist with any necessary lifestyle modifications. We value a team based approach at Latrobe Health Centre, and when required, our myotherapists work closely with our other allied health practitioners to give you the highest quality care.
